When Mason Knox arrived on the shores of Scotland, just below Stonehaven, he was seen as a hero and saviour, as he unloaded food, and building materials to help rebuild the towns and cities of Scotland. Twenty six years on it is a very different story.

The woodsmen of the area have been forced into slave labour, as they toil at the industry of Knox, in his concrete city built in a spiraling mass across the cliffs. Rose Mackintosh and Sinclair Forbes are two of the woodland peoples, who strive to hold the few free woodsmen of Scotland together in a bitter struggle for survival. Both of them fear the huge castle of black stone that has risen almost over night, on the rough sea battered island of Dunnottar. A tall tower has risen to watch the headland, its the shape of a cold black raven, and deep within lies the evil that is The Dark One, as she prepares her soldiers with the aid of her vile first born son. Leenard is her prisoner, and war is coming to Loxley. This is the new realm of the Raven, and she is hell bent on destroying everything in the woodland realm, especially Robbie and Runestone.

Its the time for the Lord of Loxley to extend his arm, and bring aid to those at most need in the woodland realm, now is the moment when Runestone must use all she has learned, to help him to face his darkest times, for this will not be a task like any other they will face. Darkness has come to Dunnottar island, and the stench of fear hangs over the east coast of Scotland.
